This weekend Laurie and I saw Fireproof. What a great movie! I encourage everyone to see it. This movie has gotten a lot of good press - even Time Magazine had an article about it recently (click here to read). It was among the top five when it opened over a month ago, and it's still in the theater. If you need a little more encouragement, it's in the Five Buck Club at Showplace 16 in Schererville.
Make this $10 investment in your marriage. It will pay off far greater benefits than a couple of lattes!
Friends of ours who are not believers saw this movie Saturday night as a last resort to repairing their marriage. Not only did we hear they are going to buy the book Love Dare, they are also looking into books about Christianity. Praise God!

Dan and I did see this movie which was great!!! But, being from a Firefighter family...what we appreciated was that this movie did justice to the Fire Dept....as true to life...and not some hokey sets of fire fighting situations to make people feel good. The book for everyone to enjoy is called Fireproof your Life and is available in the Vine!! A couple of mini churches are going through each of these books as their 2009 study materials.
