Biography
I grew up in Oostburg, Wisconsin (yeah, I’m a cheesehead). I graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa and Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan. My first “real job” was serving an inner-city church in Fort Lee, New Jersey where God developed my passion for outreach. In 1991, I began my ministry at Faith Church in South Holland, Illinois. The Lord has taken us on a wild ride over the past 15-plus years, and landed us in Dyer and Cedar Lake, Indiana where we’re privileged to minister to all kinds of people for Christ.
Interests
My greatest interests are Jesus; my wife Laurie; my kids Courtney, Caitlin, Grant and Carley; running; da Cubs, da Bears and da Bulls. Love to read books by John Stott and John Piper. Greatest thrill is seeing lives changed for Christ.
